Harbor note

Fog turns skip into skate

A film of Sound moisture on rye is not atmosphere. It is a lubricant. A working width that skipped on a dry Tuesday can skate past the ball the next morning.

Ada notes moisture on the millboard so Corin cannot pretend the dry hour was the whole story. We would rather embarrass a sole on Chapel Street than on the fifth at a municipal.

If you play inland and the turf drains, say so. The fog logic still matters on shoulder days near the harbor.
